Sephora
I saw a video recently about walking your dog and now I can’t unsee it. The video recommends you allow your dog to take her time and sniff every single thing because walking around the neighborhood is like her version of browsing at Target or Sephora. I can’t not think about that video when I walk my dog daily now. When I find myself wishing she would move along so we could get home, I have to remind myself that she’s shopping, and I need to chill.
Speaking of shopping, I’m normally not a let’s look around all day kind of girl. I prefer to walk in a clothing store, do a quick lap around, then quickly try on a few things or leave. I do not like to wander. Sephora is the exception to that rule. If you ever see me in Sephora, you will see me wandering around looking at every single bay. I’ll even look at the same section in Sephora twice. I don’t know what it is about that store, but I could spend hours looking around. The last time I stopped by Sephora I took note of what I want to try next. Here’s the list.
Crown Affair hair towel: My Mom gave me a hair towel a few years ago for Christmas and it is the best hair towel I’ve ever used. I wash my hair more often than the average girl, so a good towel is required to cut down on the time it takes me to get ready. I like the towel she gave me so much so that I tried to buy two more. One to keep at my parent’s house and one to keep at Russ’. The problem is that I have not been able to find the exact towel she gave me. After a few purchases I did find one that’s a close runner-up. All that to say, none of these towels have been the towel by Crown Affair. I first heard about the Crown Affair hair towel on Marianna Hewitt’s (co-founder of Summer Fridays) podcast. I just have this feeling that it will be as good as the one my Mom gave me.
Patrick Ta blush duo Just Enough: I’ve tried to branch out with my blush the last several years and no matter what I try I keep coming back to this product. I used to wear the shade She’s Wanted and now I currently wear shade Not Too Much. The blue pink hue of the Just Enough shade would be so cute for Spring!
Roz heat protectant: The detangler product I used for years acted as a two in one product because it also protected my hair from the heat of the dryer and the heat of my curling iron. I ran out of the detangler spray and have been skipping the heat protectant step ever since. I saw that the heat protectant from Roz has great reviews. I love that they offer it in a mini size, allowing you to test it out without committing to a full-size bottle.
Setting Spray: It will be 100 degrees in Dallas soon and my makeup will be struggling to hold on. It’s best to get my ducks in a row ahead of time. During the summertime I normally use the All Nighter setting spray. I’m curious to see if this one is just as good.
Xx.
