A lot of people joke that all there is to do in Dallas is eat and shop. I sort of agree, though I would add work to that list. The job market in Dallas has always been full of opportunities and for that I’m thankful. I moved to Dallas in 2016 after living in Houston for four years. Although I now live in the suburbs of Dallas and am nowhere near the heart of the city, I think my almost decade of time spent here gives me the potential to make a pretty darn good recommendation list. Whether you live in DFW, or you’re just visiting. Here are some spots worth stopping by.

Coffee shop: Lala Land
