From House to Home

I go through phases when it comes to having an interest in decorating my home. I’m a minimalist who despises clutter and can’t imagine having something to fill every single empty space. On the other hand, I don’t want the house to look empty or unfinished. I was making pretty good progress furnishing this house that I live in now until last January when my house flooded during the freeze. Back to square one I went.

I don’t think the suburbs of Dallas are where I want to live forever, but while I’m here I might as well make it as inviting as I possibly can. I also should probably take advantage of this time in life when I can select furniture and wall art without having to consider anyone else’s opinion. How you select a new dresser (much less a home) as a couple is beyond me! Please email me your tips so I can mentally prepare for that day.
